FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Welcome to Beaumont Shinny Hockey! This program is intended for children who do not want to play competitive hockey or are trying hockey for the first time. This is NOT for players registered in competitive hockey (BAHA). This group is for Beaumont area residents only. We play outdoors every Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
Age group: 6-11 years old from 10am to 12pm and 12-18 years old from 12pm to 2pm. Age groupings may not necessarily be exactly as listed, depending on number, size, and skill level of participants.
Ages 6-11: This Group is now FULL. Registrants will be put on a waiting list and contacted if a spot opens up.
The 12-18 age group will take up to 25 registrants.
What to Bring
Hockey helmet with cage, skates, hockey gloves, and stick. Dress warm as this is outdoor hockey.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
10 dollars is for Fun Team registration and 20 dollars are towards group equipment, snacks and the year end party.
If you would like a Funteam jersey, it is $15.00.
All fees are payable on the first day of play. Cash or cheque.
