FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Bashaw Fun Hockey is excited to run another year! Bashaw Fun Hockey is affiliated with FunTeam Alberta. FunTeam Alberta promotes low cost, low commitment, family oriented, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We encourage any activity to be fun for the participants, coaches, parents, volunteers and the rest of the community! We will practice once per week, on friday evenings and play 4-5 games during the season. We are looking forward to another fun filled year!
This year we will have 3 teams;
- 4/5 year old team
- 6-8 year old team
- 9-11 year old team
What to Bring
- Hockey helmet
- Skates
- Hockey socks (black preferably)
- Shin guards
- Pants
- Jill/jock
- Chest Protector
- Elbow pads
- hockey stick
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
Registration fees will cover ice fees as well as insurance.
If you need a jersey, it is an additional $25. That includes the last name and number on the back of the jersey. I am hoping to keep costs down and reuse as many jersey as possible.

Volunteering
FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.
We will be needing volunteers for a few positions this year.
- 1 manager per team
- 2-4 coaches per team
