FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
44 North Hockey Club is happy to be back for another fun filled season of hockey in Fawcett! We are truly a small community club with amazing parents stepping up to provide a hockey club where their kids can learn to be team players and grow their love of the game. 44 North Hockey Club was formed many years ago now to provide our rural kids with a fun, close to home, low cost and family friendly playing experience. We have played a big part in our small community over the years too, wearing our jerseys to clean tables at pancake breakfasts and passing the puck around while walking in hometown parades. We are a small but mighty club who believe that every child gets to play and have the best experience on and off the ice.
Our team practices are once a week and we schedule games on Saturdays from the end of November through to March. We do play away games in other great communities in the area.
What to Bring
All players must have a full set of hockey gear to step on the ice.

- Helmet with full cage
- Neck guard
- shoulder pads
- elbow pads
- gloves
- hockey pants
- jock
- shin pads
- skates
- hockey stick
Our club will provide hockey socks and jerseys.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.

Volunteering
FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.
We can't do any of this without our volunteers and we cannot thank you enough for your commitment to our hockey program and to our kids. We need volunteers to make the hockey season a success and we will be needing help as always with coaching, organizing, washing jerseys and running the game clock.
