FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
The Forestburg Soccer Association is a non-profit organization focused on providing a fun, affordable activity that is accessible to all children. We aim to encourage a healthy lifestyle, foster friendships, and develop skills by offering a recreational, less-competitive league of non-contact sport. Safety and fun our top priorities! To ensure safety, the level of play will be lowered to that of the least-skilled player on each team or group.
There is no fundraising requirement to participate and we do not organize official team photos. Teams can plan a "photo night" where parents/guardians take photos using their own devices.
The season will run from May 8, 2023 to June 19, 2023. The season will wrap-up with a team event. The cost of this is included in the registration fee.
U5 Team will meet on Monday evenings.
U7, U9, U11 Team schedules will be determined based on coach availability and game schedule. Teams will meet for one practice and one game each week.

What to Bring
U5: Please send your child in weather appropriate clothing, running shoes (no sandals please!), and a water bottle.
U7, U9, U11: In addition to the above, we recommend shin pads and socks for players. Cleats are optional, as running shoes work great too!
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
In order to register your child there is a season fee of $30 - $40 per child, depending on age group. We are committed to offering soccer to our community at an affordable price.
$10 is to cover the FunTeam Alberta Fees.
$20 - $30 is to cover the costs of referees, equipment maintenance (balls, nets, flags, etc.), and a year-end event.
If you are already registered with FunTeam Alberta for the 2023 season, you will not need to pay this $10 fee again; it will be omitted from your balance at checkout.
Please note that the registration process is incomplete until your balance is paid in full. Payment should be made no later than May 8, 2023. Participants with outstanding balances remaining the first day your team meets will unfortunately not be allowed to join in on the fun.

- Cheques/cash can be brought to the first team meeting on May 8, 2023
- Cheques should be made payable to Forestburg Soccer Association (*NSF cheques will be subject to an additional $25 fee)
- Cash must be paid in the exact amount due - we will not have change.

FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.

- Field Maintenance (including line painting, setting up/taking down nets, etc.)
