Sundre FunTeam Learn to Skate

Description

FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

The Fun Team Learn to Skate program is for skaters ages 3 and up to learn how to skate in a fun environment. It is a station-based lesson to form basic skating fundamentals and introduce further elements required for recreational skating, hockey, precision skating and figure skating. 

The season starts on Tuesday after the ice is in September (Date TBC). The final day of skating is March 19, 2023. 

Registration is completed on-line here. Payment can be made to the Sundre Skating Club on or before the first day of skating by cheque, cash or e-transfer (sundreskatingclub@live.ca).

What to Bring

All skaters must have skates and a helmet.

Dress warm. We also recommend snow pants and mittens for skaters that may spend a little time sitting on the ice. 

Fees

Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.

$200/season

Costs are pro-rated for skaters that want to skate for a part of the season. Please contact us for information.
