FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

We offer hockey for youths ages 4 - 18yrs but not as many games as minor hockey. Each team gets one practice a week and we usually have one home game per month. Away games vary depending on the coach but usually at least one away game per month also.  We want the kids to be committed to their teammates and team but also realize that school and family is most important so birthday parties and school work come first before games. We try to keep costs to a minimum so all kids have the opportunity to play.  We start the first week of October and finish the first week of March, during that time we host two tournaments usually. One for the juniors and one for the intermediates so we ask for parents to help with planning and running both.
