FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Reed Ranch Funteam Hockey is for ages 4-14 and runs from approximately October til March. We meet once a week on Thursday evenings from 6-7pm. We want kids to have an opportunity to learn about the game of hockey in a fun, low commitment, lower cost environment. Kids can learn the basics of skating, stick handling, and the rules of hockey. We like to wrap up the end of our season with a pizza and skating party for the whole family!
What to Bring
Full equipment
Helmet (with full cage), skates, shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee and shin pads, hockey pants, gloves, athletic supporter and cup, neck protector and mouth guard.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
We do our best to keep fees manageable for family's, the fees cover the cost of our ice rental, year end party, and a small thank you to our regular coaches and volunteers at the end of the year.

FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.
We value our volunteers and appreciate any time they are willing to commit to teaching and supporting the kids in our program. We would love to have volunteers help on the ice with our new skaters as they learn to keep their feet underneath them and supporting our head coach on the ice.
