FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Reed Ranch Funball is an opportunity for kids ages 4-13 to learn about soccer and softball. Kids will meet on Thursdays from 3:30pm til 5:15pm, taking a break half way through for a snack and drink of water. Kids will learn the rules and skills needed for soccer and baseball in a fun, hands-on way. Groups will separated by age with one group doing soccer and the other softball and then switching at the half way mark.
There are many opportunities for skills to be learned while playing team sports in a low pressure environment. We want to provide kids with an outlet to participate in soccer or softball in a high fun, low commitment, low cost way.
* Registered kids will expected to participate for the duration of Funball, despite there being a playground on the grounds or they must be under the supervision of their parents. Participants will not be able to "skip out" for their own safety.
What to Bring
Children would need running shoes for running and kicking a ball. They should also bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. We we like to encourage parents to dress their kids for the weather as some of the cooler days might require a toque or gloves or thicker jacket to stay comfortable outside.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
