The Forestburg Soccer Association is proud to be a part of the FunTeam Alberta.
For the 2024 season, Forestburg FunTeam Soccer will offer U5, U7 & U9 teams. All teams are supported by local volunteers from our families and communities. Kids are brought together through a love of soccer, fresh air and exercise! Our coaches focus on fun, teamwork connections, and skill development. Weather dependent, we aim to offer a 7 week season.
- U5 practice on Mondays from 5:45pm - 6:15pm.
- U7 & U9 practice Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30pm - 7:15pm.
Practices will be held at the Forestburg Soccer Pitch, adjoining to the Forestburg Multipurpose Facility. The soccer pitch is maintained by the Village of Forestburg. U7 and U9 games will be scheduled with other communities, pending final registration and teams available to participate. All games will be on Monday or Wednesday evenings.
What to Bring
U5: Please send your child in weather appropriate clothing, running shoes (no sandals please!), and a water bottle.
U7, U9: In addition to the above, we recommend shin pads and socks for players. Cleats are optional, as running shoes work great too!
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
We are committed to offering soccer to our community at an affordable price.
- U5 Fees - $20
- U7 Fees - $40
- U9 Fees - $40
$10 of all registration fees is to cover the FunTeam Alberta Fees. $20 - $30 is to cover the costs of equipment maintenance (balls, pinnies, jerseys, etc.), and a year-end team event.
Please note that the registration process is incomplete until your balance is paid in full. Payment should be made no later than May 1, 2024.
To pay your fees:
- Please send eTransfers to forestburg.soccerclub@gmail.com before May 1, 2023
- Cheques/cash can be brought to the first team meeting on May 1, 2024
- Cheques should be made payable to Forestburg Soccer Association (*NSF cheques will be subject to an additional $25 fee)
- Cash must be paid in the exact amount due - we will not have change.
** If you require financial assistance, please contact the Forestburg Soccer Association. We will need to process and approve your request prior to the start of the season. **

FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.
