FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

Our program is intended for kids to play noncompetitive hockey once a week. Every Saturday from 10:00am till 2:00pm two groups of kids play on an outdoor rink located at the Bellevue outdoor rink. 6-11 year old's play 10am till noon and 12-18 year old's play noon to 2pm. This is weather dependent as we play between +5 and -20 degrees. The City of Beaumont supplies a changing shack so we can warm up at anytime. In the younger group we play with all kids on the ice at once and can go off the ice at any time. We take a break at 11am and 1pm to warm up and have hot chocolate or snack. We usually start at the end of November or beginning of December once the ice is ready to play on and safe and usually we play to mid March ice dependent. We have a year end party with presentations/games/pizza. We are on Facebook so visit beaumountshinnyhockey. Registration for returning players will be beginning of September and then we open it up to the general public. We take 30 players in each age group and do have a waiting list usually every year. Volunteers usually help out with snack, clearing snow off of the ice, coaching, and tying skates. Registration is the first day of Shinny $10 for Funteam fee, $20 for snacks, and year in party for a total of $30 for the year. Please bring your money on the first day of Shinny....Cash preferred.
