FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

Neerlandia Fun Hockey is all about making hockey enjoyable, inclusive, and accessible. We focus on family-friendly, affordable, and skill building so every child that joins our program learns how to play hockey. Our goal is to create a positive experience not just for the kids, but also for parents, coaches, volunteers, and the wider community.

Teams are formed by age once we have a clear idea of registration numbers. All registration will take place online. While your registration covers the season and one tournament, there may be opportunities for optional additional tournaments or fun activities (Oil Kings game, team photos, ect…) that will be additional costs through the season.

Games will be arranged with other towns in advance. Games are all within an hour drive from Neerlandia. Once teams are formed team managers will send out schedules with times and locations of the seasons games.

Our program depends on community support. Volunteers are essential to keep things running smoothly, and we are currently looking for coaches, assistant coaches, team managers. If you’re able to help, we’d love to have you involved!

Practices are on Friday afternoon/evenings at the Linaria Rink.. These are tentative times that will be confirmed once registrations are closed and teams are made. 

Little Team: 4:00

Middle Junior: 4:45

Middle Senior 5:30

Old Team: 6:30

Games are on Saturdays.

Open to kids aged 5 to 17 (before December 31).
