FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Welcome to the Reed Ranch Funteam hockey! For ages 4-14 and any skill level. We meet Thursday evenings from 6:15-7:15pm. This is a fun, encouraging learning environment to get kids comfortable being out on skates and stick handling. We like to wrap up our season every year with a pizza party and fun skate for the whole family to enjoy!
What to Bring
- Helmet: include a full face cage.
- Neck Guard: .
- Shoulder Pads: Provides protection to the shoulders and collarbone.
- Elbow Pads: Protects the elbow area.
- Hockey Pants: Designed to protect the thighs and hips.
- Gloves: Must be approved hockey gloves.
- Protective Cup: A jock or jill to protect the groin area.
- Shin Pads: Protects the shins.
OPTIONAL: Mouthguard
- Skates: Standard ice hockey skates.
- Stick: appropriate for the player's size, with the common guideline being the top of the stick reaches the player's chin.
- Hockey Socks: Worn over the shin pads.
- Equipment Bag: To carry all the necessary equipment.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
