Description
FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
We are part of FunTeam Alberta, an organization whose goal is to make sports accessible to everyone while encouraging communities to just play!
Season Duration: approximately the first week of May through the third week of June. The season starts once the soccer fields are dry.
Format: Practices and/or games will be held Mondays and/or Wednesdays. Coaches/teams will decide if inter-town games will be played.
U-5 (ages 3-5) will practice once per week, either Mondays OR Wednesdays. Start time will be determined by the coaches.
Age groups will be determined after registration, when numbers are available.
Fees: U5 - $25, U7 and up $50
A $25 jersey deposit is required for each player. This will be refunded upon return of jersey
Equipment: Shin Guards and socks that cover the shin guards are mandatory for all players. Soccer Cleats are suggested for players U7 and up.
Communication: Notices will be made on "Daysland Soccer Club" Facebook page (search "Daysland Soccer Club") and directly from coaches.
We rely on volunteer Coaches. volunteer coaches do not pay registration fees for any of their own children registered to play. Volunteers 18 and over are required to complete a criminal record check every 3 years.

Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
