FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

Our program is intended for kids to play noncompetitive hockey once a week. Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, two groups of kids play on an outdoor rink located at the Bellevue Outdoor Rink.

6–11-year-olds play from 10 am to noon, and 12–18-year-olds play from noon to 2 pm. This is weather-dependent as we play between +5 and -20 degrees.

The City of Beaumont supplies a changing shack so we can warm up at any time. In the younger group, we play with all kids on the ice at once and can go off the ice at any time. We take a break at 11am and 1pm to warm up and have hot chocolate or a snack.

We usually start at the end of November or the beginning of December, once the ice is ready to play on and safe, and usually, we play to mid March ice dependent. We have a year-end party with presentations/games/pizza. Make sure to visit us on Facebook!

Registration for returning players will be beginning of September, and then we will open it up to the public. We take 30 players in each age group and do have a waiting list usually every year. Volunteers usually help with snacks, clearing snow off the ice, coaching, and tying skates.
