FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.

ALL VOLUNTEER ROLES NEED TO BE FILLED IN ORDER FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THEIR SEASON

• Head Coach (1 per team): 

The Coach leads the team in a fun, positive, and supportive environment focused on skill development and enjoyment of the game. They plan and run practices, guide players during games, and help build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in every athlete. 

• Assistant Coach (2 to 3 per team):

The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in running practices and games, helping to keep players engaged and organized. This role focuses on assisting with drills, providing encouragement, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. 

• Team Managers (1 per team):  

The Team Manager plays a key role in keeping the season organized and running smoothly. This volunteer acts as the main point of communication between coaches, parents, and the association—sharing schedules, coordinating team activities, and helping with game-day logistics. The role is administrative in nature, allowing coaches to focus on player development while ensuring families stay informed and supported throughout the season. 

• Jersey Parent (1 to 2 per team):  

The Jersey Parent is responsible for the care and organization of team jerseys throughout the season. This includes distributing jerseys at the start of each game, collecting them at the end of each game, storing and washing them as needed, and ensuring all jerseys are returned at the end of the year. 

• Time/Score Keepers: Run the score clock during each home game.
