FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
Welcome to Fort Assiniboine Hockey FunTeam. We are very excited to be holding another season of fun hockey for our little community! We have an awesome group of volunteers that strive to help our kids with their skills, skating, respect and responsibilities. Our volunteer coaches love these kids like they were they're own, in fact each of our coaches all have children on our hockey teams! They will help them build confidence in their skills, learn how to work as a team player and build their love for the game!
We aim to hold 2 practices per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm-8pm Pistols 6-7pm and Rangers 7-8pm
1 home game and 1 away game each month!
What to Bring
Standard Equipment that is required for all players is as follows:
-Hockey Stick
-Padded Hockey Gloves
-Helmet with Cage (HECC Certified, not expired)
-Neck Guard
-Chest and Shoulder Pads
-Elbow Pads
-Athletic Jock (boys) or Jill (girls)
-Hockey Pants
-Shin Guards
-Hockey Socks
-Skates
-Jersey of their choice for Practices (We provide the jerseys for game days)
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
This Year we will include your $10 Funteam hockey fee in your registration fee!!
Please submit all of your fees in full to our Treasurer/President in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process. You must pay in full before our first practice, If you don't pay, they don't play.
Fees: $250/child
$600/family of 3 or more

Volunteering
FunTeam volunteers are our most valuable resource. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to our programming and bringing our model of sport to your community.
Currently we have the following volunteers:

Rangers Coaches - Jamie Davison & Dennis Degroot
Pistols Coaches - Darren Lee & Lance Petryshen
We have numerous parents that are always there to jump in and help whenever a hand is needed!
We will be looking for volunteers to help in the kitchen for our home games and tournaments this year, we will need a few parents to take the food and safety course, which we will cover the cost of. The more volunteers we have the smoother the season will go. We will also be needing Referee's for our home games, if you or someone you know can help us out that would be fabulous!
