FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!

Welcome to The Rich Valley Vikings Fun Hockey! 

Rich Valley Fun Hockey provides the opportunity for all kids to get involved in hockey! We strive to promote respect for everyone involved, teammates, opposing players, coaches, officials and most of all themselves! Rich Valley Fun Hockey is here for the love of the game and to get out and play! The coaches all work hard to have each individual player improve their skills and confidence throughout the year. 

Low cost and low commitment hockey program with weekly practices and weekly games.  Practices are Friday night and games - both home and away - are on Saturday.  Travel for away games is kept minimal by participating with other local Fun Hockey teams.

* It is our priority this year to provide a safe environment for our players and will follow all guidelines set out by Fun Team Alberta.*  

Our teams are as follows 

Little Vikings (Age 4-9) Practice Fridays 5:00pm - 6:00pm 

Middle Vikings (Age 10-12) Practice Fridays 6:00pm - 7:00pm 

Big Vikings (Age 13-17) Practice Wednesdays 5:40pm - 6:40 pm 

As part of our goal to keep contact as minimum we ask that your child be there 30 mins prior to practice and come dressed, unless they can do it by themselves. Coaches will tie any skates that are needed.  ** Practice times might be adjusted to permit extra cleaning between player cohorts. 

Volunteer Commitment: Each child will be required to sell 20 raffle tickets ( when commitment is fulfilled you will receive your volunteer fee back)
