Description
FunTeam Alberta promotes family oriented, low cost, and less competitive sport to be enjoyed by participants of all skill levels. We are an inclusive organization that encourage any activity to be FUN for the participants, parents, coaches, volunteers and the rest of the community!
We are a chill hockey group that recognizes that fun comes way ahead of winning. Fair play, team work, good sportsmanship and equal opportunity are the 4 cornerstones to our operation. Any and all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join from first time skaters to all star players.
We start in October with some practices and inter squad scrimmages, then reach out to play some other FunTeam groups participating towns in central Alberta.
We like to play into mid-march and hope to host a fun team tournament at the end of the year.
What to Bring
All required hockey equipment including Helmet, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, skates, shin guards, hockey pants and can.
Fees
Important: $10 of the listed registration fee covers your FunTeam membership which is required to join a FunTeam group. Please submit all of your fees to your Group Manager in a timely fashion as it is required to complete the registration process.
The fee for the year per participant is $265 and includes the $10 fun team fee.
